Michael Quinn is a Senior Incident Responder at Cybereason, based in New Jersey. Michael has over 15 years of experience in computer intrusion and cyber crime cases, with expertise in digital forensics and incident response investigations.
Prior to joining Cybereason Michael was a Managing Director at Kroll, a financial and risk advisory firm, as part of the Cyber and Data Resilience team where he focused on digital forensics and incident response. During his time at Kroll, Michael led hundreds of incident response engagements, with a focus on tabletop exercises and incident response planning in close coordination with law firms and insurance carriers and brokers.
Before this, Michael served as Supervisory Special Agent in the Cyber Division of the FBI from 2021-2014, where he managed a variety of state-sponsored and criminal intrusion matters for several FBI field offices. From 2007 to 2012, Michael was part of the FBI’s elite Computer Analysis and Response Team as a Special Agent/ Computer Forensic Examiner at the FBI’s New Jersey Regional Computer Forensics Lab.
Michael Quinn holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Scranton and a Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Nebraska.
