Biography

Christopher White is a cyber and crisis communications expert at Cybereason, based in Boston. Chris has more than 20 years of experience in security, intelligence, and crisis and reputation management. Chris’ focus at Cybereason is helping clients manage strategic and crisis communications related to cyber incidents. 

Prior to Cybereason, Chris was a Senior Vice President at Kroll, a financial and risk advisory firm, where he advised clients on preparing for and managing the communications response to cybersecurity incidents. He also helped design, draft and deliver cyber communications playbooks and executive tabletop exercises for organizations. 

Before this, Chris’s previous roles included director in the Cybersecurity practice at the crisis management firm, Brunswick Group, where he supported clients in preparing for and responding to cyber incidents; Deputy Director at the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency where he helped lead disaster preparedness and response efforts for Washington DC; and spokesperson and intelligence analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) where he managed crisis communications and media relations. 

Chris received his Bachelors of Arts in Russian Studies from Harvard University. He also holds an MBA in international business and a Masters of Arts in international affairs from George Washington University.
