Cybereason, developers of the world’s only military-grade, real-time detection and response platform, today announced that Lior Div, the company’s co-founder and CEO is joining Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker on his administration’s Economic Development Mission in Israel, taking place December 11-14.
Div will be participating in several events during the trade mission, including a roundtable on Monday with other CEOs titled ‘What Israeli Startups Need to Know About the US & Global Markets.’ In total, more than fifty leaders and more than 20 presidents and chief executive officers in cybersecurity, digital health, public policy, academia and other industry sectors are on the trip. The mission is focused on leveraging the Commonwealth’s unique and innovative economic climate to welcome Israel’s global leadership in cybersecurity and digital health.
“Massachusetts is one of the most innovative states in the nation and our unique economic relationship with Israel is a key driver to increase our competitiveness for the world’s emerging digital health and cyber security industries. This mission will provide opportunities to exchange ideas and showcase all Massachusetts has to offer, from a highly-educated and talented workforce, to top tier universities and a vibrant venture capital sector, as these startup Israeli businesses seek a home away from home to expand and create new jobs in the Commonwealth,” said Governor Baker.
“The biggest goal for me during my time in Israel with Governor Baker and other CEOs and leaders is to share my own start up experiences with the young Israeli entrepreneurs. I want to impress upon them that Boston’s ecosystem will support their company in many dynamic ways. My fellow CEOs will be able to share similar stories about the vibrancy in the cybersecurity and digital health community in Massachusetts and the hands on support that organizations like the New England Israel Economic Business Council provide to young companies. It is important for entrepreneurs to know that Boston is the greatest city to call home,” added Div.
