Cybereason Pledges $50 Million in Free Enterprise Software

May 15, 2017

Cybereason today pledged $50 million in FREE enterprise software to any company victimized by the invasive WannaCry ransomware attack. For more information, call +1-855-695-8200 or email: info@cybereason.com. Cybereason’s enterprise platform and the anti-ransomware tool both stop WannaCry by using behavioral and proprietary deception techniques to target the core behaviors typical in ransomware attacks.

WannaCry is the largest ransomware attack in history hitting more than 300,000 people in more than 150 countries. Ransomware is a type of malicious software designed to block access to a computer system or computer files until a sum of money is paid. Most ransomware variants encrypt the files on the affected computer, making them inaccessible, and demand a ransom payment to restore access.

“We are taking unprecedented measures to help any company affected by WannaCry because we want to rid the world of ransomware and make it unprofitable for hackers. Ransomware is the biggest threat facing companies today and we’re excited to help even more companies eliminate ransomware,” said Lior Div, co-founder and CEO of Cybereason.
