Cybereason Expands Operations in Benelux & Nordics Regions

Jun 10, 2020

Cybereason, a leader in endpoint protection, today announced it is expanding its EMEA operations in the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) and Nordics (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Baltics) regions. In addition, the company hired veteran cybersecurity executive Rene Oskam as Regional Vice President. Oskam brings more than 25 years of experience to the company and previously held sales leadership positions at Symantec, F5 Networks, Checkpoint and Cisco. Cybereason also recently announced a technology partnership with Pinewood to expand its channel presence in The Netherlands.

In the past 12 months, Cybereason’s revenues have more than doubled in the EMEA region, with expansion being the focal point for the company. The Benelux and Nordics territories, UK and DACH regions, France and United Arab Emirates have all seen a record number of new customers.

“It’s exciting to see Cybereason’s rapid EMEA expansion including the Benelux and Nordics territories at a time when demand for our award-winning endpoint platform has never been higher. The results from recently published reports from Forrester, MITRE and NSS Labs affirms our leadership position in the EDR and EPP markets. Rene Oskam’s track record of success over more than 25 years in the cybersecurity industry is vitally important to Cybereason, our partners and existing customers in the regions,” said Lior Div.

Cybereason has expanded its product offering in 2020 with the launch of Cybereason Mobile, a new cloud-based offering designed to help enterprises prevent, detect and respond to both mobile device and traditional endpoint risks.

The company also recently received several third-party validations for its award-winning Cybereason Defense Platform. For example, the company has the top-ranked current offering in the recently published “The Forrester Wave™: Endpoint Detection & Response, Q1 2020.” It also received a strong rating in NSS Labs Inc.’s Advanced Endpoint Protection (AEP) Test with a AAA rating in the Resistance to Evasion category.

And in the recently completed MITRE ATT&CK product evaluations, Cybereason successfully defended against techniques frequently used by cybercrime group APT29.

“Corporations in the Benelux and Nordics regions are not immune to the constant barrage of cybersecurity threats coming from nationstates and other hacking groups. When proprietary data losses mount it is well past time for organizations to take a new approach to protecting their employees and customers. This is what excites me about Cybereason as the Cyber Defense Platform future proofs security operations and vastly improves the ability of security analysts to do their jobs reducing risk and making cybercrime unprofitable,”said Oskam.
