Cybereason, developers of the world’s only military-grade, real-time detection and response platform, today announced the opening of its newest office in London, UK, which will drive support for existing customers and partners in Europe, while enabling the company to rapidly grow revenues and market presence. The company also named Simon Sharp, vice president of EMEA.
Simon Sharp is a seasoned technology executive who brings more than two decades of sales and management experience to Cybereason. Prior to joining Cybereason, Sharp was vice president of sales at Pindrop Security, where he designed and led the company's go to market efforts in EMEA. He was responsible for growth in the market of more than 500 percent. Prior to Pindrop, Sharp served in a variety of sales leadership roles at RSA - The Security Division of EMC. At RSA, revenues grew 20 percent year over year during his tenure. He previously held sales roles with Entrust and established multiple US cyber security start ups in the EMEA market. Sharp graduated in Accounting and Business Information Systems – University of Portsmouth Business School.

In October, Cybereason announced a partnership with Blue Turtle, a leading South African security solutions provider, which in a matter of weeks has resulted in two new customers. Cybereason’s London office will not only give the company a presence in one of the world’s largest financial markets, it will serve as a springboard into the rest of Europe, continuing the path of its rapid growth.
