Cybereason Names Masayuki Moteki President of Cybereason Japan

Cybereason, developers of the world’s only military-grade, real-time detection and response platform, today named Masayuki Moteki President of Cybereason Japan, a joint venture between Cybereason and its customer and investor, Softbank. Moteki brings more than 20 years of IT security experience to Cybereason Japan and was most recently President of FireEye Japan. Since Cybereason Japan officially launched earlier this year dozens of companies are now using the company’s military-grade, real-time detection and response platform. Globally, Cybereason now employees more than 175 people.

Moteki is well known in the IT security market in Japan and was President of FireEye Japan since 2013. He led all sales activity for the company and under his leadership, he grew FireEye’s revenues more than 800 percent, customers increased more than 10x and his team grew to nearly 100 employees. Moteki also held other senior executive positions at McAfee and Oracle.
