Cybereason today announced a 30-day, 10-city, rapid fire DEEP Hunting Tour kicking off on November 8 in Boston.
Following several months of increasingly destructive global ransomware attacks including WannaCry, NotPetya and Bad Rabbit, along with major breaches at Equifax and Deloitte, the DEEP Hunting Tour was created to help combat escalating threats and ever-evolving adversaries. Attendees will be educated on how advanced hunting engines can help detect behavioral patterns within a network and learn how to get in front of an attack before it happens, rather than being reactive.
Each tour stop will include a live simulation of a cyber attack that demonstrates the cutting-edge malware and methodologies that the attackers are using today. Attendees will see the malicious operation from all viewpoints — including the attacker, the victim, and the analyst — in order to learn about the attackers' latest strategies and gain the upper hand over the adversaries.
2017 DEEP Threat Hunting Tour Schedule:
11/8: Boston
11/9: Chicago
11/14: Denver
11/15: Salt Lake City
11/29: Atlanta
11/30: Washington D.C.
12/6: New York City
12/6: Dallas
12/7: Philadelphia
12/7: Houston
Lunch will be provided at each event. To register for a local event, please visit the DEEP Hunting Tour website. This road show will close out 2017 and build momentum for a 2018 tour that will be announced in the coming weeks with more cities and more activities.
