The hacking group named Dragonfly has been active since at least 2011, and was initially exposed by researchers in 2014.
The group is believed to be responsible for a brutal string of attacks against the Ukraine’s electrical grid since 2015. According to Symantec, “Dragonfly 2.0” has been especially active in 2017, particularly in the US, Switzerland, and Turkey, with scattered attacks on several facilities in other countries.
