Cybereason’s Lodrina Cherne, Principal Security Advocate in the Office of the CSO and Aspen Tech Policy Hub Fellow, will join other cyber experts in a discussion on inclusiveness sponsored by the Aspen Tech Policy Hub and Aspen Digital.
The session, titled Building a More Inclusive Cyber Future, is taking place Thursday, September 9, at 12:00 pm ET, and will feature opening remarks from U.S. Representative Lauren Underwood, Illinois 14th Congressional District.
“This panel brings forward concrete recommendations for what can be done by individuals and corporations to increase diversity in the cybersecurity space. Rather than focusing on how far cybersecurity has to go to represent more views and voices, I hope attendees come away with actions they can take today to support diversity across schools and workplaces,” said Cherne.
Joining Cherne on the panel are a number of cybersecurity experts, including:
Cherne is a champion for security in the digital forensics and cybersecurity industries. As Principal Security Advocate at Cybereason, she drives innovation and development of best practices related to cybersecurity standards and policy.
Cherne is also a Certified Instructor at the SANS Institute where she helps information security professionals advance their foundational understanding of digital forensics. Cherne has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Boston University and has participated in the Technology Executive Leadership Initiative at AspenTech Policy Hub.
