We’re getting excited to attend this year’s Black Hat. The Cybereason Labs team is traveling all the way from Tel Aviv to join us in Las Vegas.
The team spent the last couple of weeks analyzing the data dump of the Hacking Team breach, where they discovered new attack methodologies that were discussed in our recent blog posts “Hacking Team Leak Unleashes Flame-Like Capabilities Into the Wild,” and "Breaking Down the Hacking Team Attack Operation." At Black Hat, they will have the opportunity to share their findings on the tools and techniques and their implications on corporate security.
We invite you to visit us at booth 358, where we will discuss new methodologies for the detection of unknown threats. We will demonstrate how Cybereason detects a hacker escalating privileges soon after compromising a machine, and the attacker’s lateral movement. We will also showcase unique detection capabilities, such as the ability to identify new DGA-based attacks. All are part of Cybereason’s ability to discover a malicious operation before it begins to cause any damage.
And it wouldn’t be Black Hat without great giveaways: Come by our booth and grab a mini-Cybereason Lego man (or woman) and snag a cool owl t-shirt. We will also have a presence at our partner Lockheed Martin’s booth 919, so if you’re visiting them don’t forget to speak with our team too. In addition to Black Hat, you can also catch us at BSides Las Vegas on August 4th and 5th - we're giving away an Oculus Rift development kit. Our Cybereason Labs team will also be at Defcon over the weekend and will be happy to chat about their latest findings.
Looking forward to meeting you there!
